100th Anniversary


                                                     Our Club Historian, Reba Shepard, has written a book entitled

                                  "100 Years of Memories"

                                                This historic writing follows the beginning of the Woman's Club of                                                              Stuart (established in 1913), the women who began it all, the goals                                                              they achieved, and historic places and times.  This is a book by a                                                                woman who has followed the events of our Club for years and has given us                                                this wonderful story.

About Our History!


A Celebration of a Century of Influence …….The Woman's Club of Stuart, 100th year celebration began with a VIP Celebration on October 11, 2013. Over 150 guests and dignitaries were in attendance. The gala event, showcased the Club’s past and present accomplishment along with its admirable legacy. The celebration continued on Saturday, October 12th with a “Community Open House”, this fun filled afternoon of music, food and drinks, pioneer families, historic vignettes and memorabilia draw more than 100 community members. 

 

With 29 committed women in 1913, the dynasty that today embodies hundreds of club women who donate their time and energy to the worthy causes of our town, the people who live here and the greater global community.
